They look like teenagers......Why do everybody draw them as if they are teenagers :)

You have a good style, but still... You are robbing Nick of what nick is and portraying your own character.

Sorry if I'm replying right now(since you commented so long ago), but I'm really puzzled by what you mean, like, Judy looks like a teen, but that's just the artist's style, and Nick looks like an adult(at least to me).

You use a anime style.

First rule of drawing what grown ups in anime style: Give them smaller eyes from teens and children so you can distinct them from one another. Only cause you characterize Nick's eyes as easy going and half closed does not make them smaller. See FMA adult characters character's for example. Only those who are more feminized and less masculine have bigger eyes.  Riza and Kain are with bigger eyes cause they are more meek and in some way innocent , while to say Mustang, Ed's and Al's Mother and Lust have small eyes cause they are not so innocent and inexperienced. It's a easy way to present characteristics without needing to write a ton of text bellow the cartoon.

Second rule of anime: Teen and Child characters in anime are distinguished from each other by hair colour or eye colour(their eyes are huge so its easy to do so). An adult you could add him some different facial features since there is so much room left after the eyes are shrunk.  You could give Nick a pointier nose, a slight stubble, slight shadier eyes and less detailed. Also for Nick you could go with less pronounced lips, since we are not trying to feminize him(but if you want to make him bishu-uggu go ahead).

Your style is nice, but adult from teens and children in your art are hard to distinguish.  If you want to make other characters then kids and teens, try and make artistic characteristics to your art which could be used as easy orientations to the audience as in who is an adult and who is not.

I hope i have not offended you in any way and hope that these tips will help you.

This art is not mine, I'm just a passerby commenting(unless you went in my gallery and saw my drawings of ages ago), but thanks for those tips, I guess?
